Kinya blog formatting guide
A visual reference for headings, rich text, quotations, nested lists, images and responsive tables supported by the Kinya blog editor.
The Kinya editor stores articles as structured Portable Text rather than raw Markdown. This page shows the Markdown-equivalent formats currently supported and provides a visual spacing reference for desktop and mobile.
Headings and text emphasis
Body copy can include strong emphasis, italics, inline code, and a standard link.
Third-level heading
Use a third-level heading to divide a larger section without competing with its main heading.
Fourth-level heading
Use a fourth-level heading as a compact label for a focused point inside that subsection.
A quotation receives its own visual rhythm, border and spacing so it remains distinct from surrounding paragraphs.
Bulleted and numbered lists
List indentation, marker styles and vertical spacing are designed to remain clear when items wrap or contain nested levels.
- First-level bullet with enough text to demonstrate a wrapped line and aligned continuation text on a narrow screen.
- Nested bullet using the second-level marker.
- Another nested bullet to show spacing between related items.
- Second first-level bullet after the nested group.

Responsive tables
The first row is rendered as column headings. Wide tables keep readable text and scroll inside their own focused region instead of widening the page.

Images, captions and credits
Images require either meaningful alt text or a decorative flag. Optional captions and credits appear directly below the image.
